Jamie Hofmann L. Ac, Dipl. Ac
The greatest joy that Jamie has found is in connecting with you and helping you to feel good in your body. She specializes in orthopedic acupuncture and cosmetic facial acupuncture. Jamie knows first hand what it’s like to have pain and injury keeping you from going for a run, moving a barbell, or holding a yoga pose. She loves working with you to piece together the puzzle of your unique pain, create an effective and efficient treatment plan, and help you to get back to the things that you enjoy.
As an adult human woman in the 21st century, Jamie also feels hyperaware of the face and body dysmorphia rampant in our culture. We are told that our natural bodies and faces are not enough, that there is no greater moral good than youth and thinness. But Jamie feels she has to ask: wouldn’t a loving celebration of our faces and bodies and the beautiful, complicated, interesting lives we have lived in them bring us so much more joy? She loves cosmetic facial acupuncture for the way it brings lift and glow to the face naturally in a way that celebrates your uniquely perfect face.
Jamie received her Master’s degree in Acupuncture Studies from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in 2021. She is licensed to practice acupuncture in Pennsylvania and is board certified by the NCBAHM. In 2024, Jamie completed a rigorous nine month study in facial cosmetic acupuncture through The Pacific College of Health and Science’s F.A.C.E. (Facial Applications for Cosmetic Enhancement) program. She teaches orthopedic needling and serves as a clinic supervisor at the Won Institute of Graduate Studies in Warminster, PA. In addition to being an acupuncturist, Jamie is a voracious reader, an avid bird-watcher, and recreational weight lifter. She has two fur-children, a cat and a dog, whom she loves with all of her heart despite them both having mediocre, slightly antisocial dispositions.
